Soulseek not working as it used to. Download stalling. I've been using Soulseek since about 2016 and now I am running into problems with downloading music.
So, SoulSeek was always working fine for me. Now it started to freeze right after the beginning, I have barely time to do one click before it freezes. I think that it is because one guy just decided to download hundreds of files at once and SoulSeek cannot handle the queue. I'm new to soulseek QT, I previously used SSX which has not been working well lately for me. I can't connect with either anymore.-What operating system you're using. The beatles has been true on any computer, both versions of Soulseek anywhere in the world I am, not that that matters It's the punishment for being so norty as to want music so badly that you need to download it rather than get yet another CD!One has to be clever - e.g. Time Out Of mind, doesn't work, so 'Out of Mind' sort of does
Soulseek not responding. Whenever i try to open SoulSeek on my mac, the blue bird icon opens and then the bird closes its wings and turns red and my screen goes white. Is there anything can do? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't work. Uploads tab not working.

I have the 2 listening ports (50830-50831) that SoulSeek needs open with port forwarding OK. SoulSeek also needs a server port (2416) I have tried outbound rules using these three ports but when I try to log into SoulSeek I get a "Socket error". Soulseek is a p2p program that was born in order to share music, intending to be a platform to help new artists find a place in the music industry, or at least, to let them be listened to by Soulseek users. Soulseek grew and now it is used for sharing all kind of files, but specifically music.
